SK Type Tail Seal Brushes
The SK Type Tail Seal Brush is a high-performance tail brush developed by SHOWA INDUSTRIES in collaboration with a construction equipment manufacturer for the purpose of preventing groundwater intrusion into shield tunneling machines during shield construction work, which has become the mainstream of underground and tunnel excavation work. A wire brush filled with a watertight agent is used to prevent backfill grout injection agents and groundwater from entering a machine and plays a major role in protecting construction safety.
